Illinois Heartland Decorative Artists (IHDA) is currently 68 members strong and growing. Members receive a newsletter titled, Brushmarks & Paint Spots seven times a year, membership directory and a handbook of the chapter's by-laws. The chapter has a large library of decorative art books, videos and pattern packets for members to check out.
| The Illinois Heartland Decorative Artists were chartered as the "Tole A-Holics" in 1977. Our logo, a bunny dressed in a "Pierre a la Artiste" garb holding a glass of champagne and a paint brush was designed by one of our charter members, Judy Warden. Our chapter was then located in the Champaign, Illinois area. As the membership grew, a contest for a new logo design was held. The current logo was created by Kathy Kilhoffer. |
